Having qualified from The Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy Fran has gained many years of experience in the field of trauma, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients, having senior roles in consultant lead orthopaedic and A&E clinics at major teaching hospitals in the West Midlands.

Fran has recently re-located from Warwickshire where she worked at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Here she worked in the fast-paced outpatient department at Warwick and Stratford Hospital, together with sessions at local GP surgeries treating a huge variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Referrals included patient self-referrals, GP referrals, multi-disciplinary referrals, and Consultant Orthopaedic referrals to include post-operative trauma and elective surgical cases.

Alongside her NHS role Fran also worked in a busy and thriving private practice in Warwick, KPC Therapy Centre again running a busy caseload of acute and chronic musculoskeletal cases from a wide referral source.

Fran has completed many post graduate courses, particularly in manual therapy and rehabilitation which she incorporates into her treatments using joint mobilisations, trigger point and myofascial release together with education, self-management through exercise and guidance on injury prevention and healthy living.

Fran is a qualified Pilates Instructor having completed the APPI Pilates training enabling her to teach in the class environment or on an individual basis.

As well as treating in the private clinic environment Fran also offers private domiciliary physiotherapy for patients who are unable to come to clinic.

Fran has qualified in Pre Hospital Immediate Care in Sports (PHICIS Level 2) and is the Physiotherapist at Thanet Wanders Rugby Union Football Club in Broadstairs covering physiotherapy treatment for training sessions mid-week and
pitch side cover for matches.

Fran is an AACP qualified acupuncturist and can offer acupuncture as part of her treatment plan, which proves to be an invaluable adjunct to her treatment repertoire.
