Hawley Health Centre - Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can treat acute (recent) and chronic (long standing) pain, joint stiffness, muscle weakness / imbalance affected by injury, illness or disability by using treatments such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, trigger point release, movement & exercise prescription, advice and education, ultrasound, Pilates and acupuncture. These treatments, usually in conjunction, help to alleviate or eliminate your pain, restore movement and function, improve strength, fitness and conditioning and promote well being.

You may find you are unable to do the things you enjoy or you are having to take time off work or need some rehabilitation following surgery. You may be suffering with acute or chronic pain, joint stiffness or muscle weakness.

Whatever you are facing Physiotherapy can help. This is achieved through a detailed hour long initial consultation to identify and establish the cause of your problem through questioning and physical examination. Follow up treatments are 30-45 minutes. Treatment plans are individually tailored, getting to the source of your pain and helping you to recover.
