I first experienced Homeopathy 35 years ago when my forward thinking Mum took me to a Homeopath. Within days of treatment with just a few tablets my symptoms were all but gone, and I remember a feeling of calm and inner strength. I didn’t know what Homeopathy was, but I felt different somehow. A few years passed until I needed to visit a GP, who offered yet more antibiotics and I thought it incredulous that there was nothing left in the toolbox. I asked if there was anything else I could do and he suggested I try Homeopathy. Once again, I experienced a rapid improvement in symptoms from just a few drops of a remedy and I never looked back. At the same time I was looking for a meaningful career change and decided to study at the College of Practical Homeopathy, London, from where I graduated in 1999.
I went on to establish practices in London, Orpington and Whitstable and after 10 years I decided to take a break and do a 'gap year for the middle aged', during which I decided to upgrade my Licentiate with a Degree, at the Centre for Homeopathic Education, London in 2015. It gave me the opportunity to review the evidence-based research around Homeopathy - of which there is plenty and some of which is impressive. Watch this space!
